Simplicity helps strengthen the composition because it only focuses on the emphasis. People do not get distracted and they see what you take a picture of. Simplicity does not mean boring, it just goes more into depth of the picture, it is a really good trick to use when you want people to know what you take a picture of. It is very effective because it gets right to the point, and I used it by taking a picture of the catcus and a plant because you only look at that.

Macro shows the main part of the picture. It blurs the background and pops the emphasis out. Macro also brings the texture out that you don't usually look for. Macro is also used to take pictures of small emphasis and make them large. It is good to use because you can do a close up to something far away.
Leading lines are used in pictures to lead to the emphasis. It takes us into and out of the picture. We use them because we want to show what the picture is about and show the main thought of it.
The rule of thirds is like a tic-tac-toe grid. You have to angle where you want your emphasis to be at and it has to be on the grid when you take the picture. We would use it if we want to show the picture in the correct angle.
